Artbooking/Close to my Heart








This was completed using Close to my Hearts Artbooking Cricut Cartridge and Graphic 45's Bird Song paper.
All pages are 8x8, pages, photo mats, lettering and pullouts were cut using the Artbooking cartridge.

 I completed this using the Magical Days D1552 and Santa Claus  C1567 stamp sets. the back stamping was done in cashmere ink, the HoHo was done with sweat leaf, Santa Claus is in Ruby and the 25th is twilight.  This was a very easy and quick card to make.  I have fallen in love with the magical days stamps each number is a different design and could be used pretty much year round.

I completed the pages using Artbooking cutouts from pages 40,54,5570 and 71.  The biggest challenge was to get everything the correct size to fit on each page.  All the pages are 5.5" x 6".  I had to use the craft room so I only cut once.   To make it interactive I did the small journal tags as flip pages also. I did not size the pictures to fit perfectly into the layouts as I wanted to use the paper clips with bows from the Laughing Lola assortment to add interest to each picture and page.
Other products used includes: Glitz Gel, Creepy Creatures stamp set,green/blue epoxy bubbles, small clear sparkle flourishes,Sarita textiles,mini Melody black accents, black and silver shimmer tape, gypsy ink, black ink, and hollyhock ink, base and bling pink and purple gems, pink glitter gems.
