Our new Addtion Mr. Shaye

While Elsa and I miss Sophie a great deal we have been lucky enough to find Shaye and welcome him into our home and lives.
Mr Shaye is 1 year old dachshund mix who is very loving and gentle.  He has fit right into our home and lives with ease.  He is very much a bundle of energy but still loves cuddle.

Close to my Heart Babycakes paper pack

This is a fun project to do.  The fence is a piece of 12x12 Mat board.  The wide pieces are 2.5 inches x 12 inches and the two cross pieces are 1inch by 12 inches.  I used a piece of Dream Pop paper for the wood grain background.  All the cutouts are from Close to my Hearts Artbooking Circut cartridge.  The paper is Close to my Heart's Baby Cakes.  The only stamp set I used was Wild Wonders C1558. A little Glitz Glitter  Gel for sparkle, some Bakers twine and a few Babycakes assortment pieces add the final touches.

This is my submission for the Hop, a standard 5.5 x 5 5 card using Olive and white daisy card stock. Inks included: Lagoon and Gypsy. The card is embossed with a swirl Cuttlebug folder, stamped using Swirls Around stamp set I used Laughing Lola paper and Silver Shimmer trim.For a few little touches I used Stardust glitz gel and Lagoon Bakers twine from the Paradise collection. The stamp set is polar Bear Holiday, item number C1557..
This is a fun stamp set for Christmas cards and layouts.  It would also be great for winter activities lay outs.

Close to my Heart Pro Player paper & Wild Wonders

This card series was completed using Close to my Heart's New Pro Player paper and the New Wild Wonders stamp set.  I also used a few odds and ends for small touches like bling, ribbon and colored burlap string and buttons.  Close to my Heart Inks used: Ruby, Outdoor Denim, Crystal Blue and Twilight.

Great Sadness

Princess Sophie Rainbow  10/23/2004 to 08/02/2013

It is with great sadness that we said good bye to Sophie on Friday August 2, 2013.  There are no words to express how much she will be missed. Our only comfort being the faith we have in our belief that she will keep the angels in heaven busy and entertained with her endless need to have her belly rubbed, paper to destroy and the loudest squeaky toy she can find.
