Close to my Heart Huntington Paper Pack project

This is one of my favorite projects to do.  This is a Close to my Heart My Creations Memory Showcase 6x6 folding album.  I used Close to my hearts new Huntington Paper pack, Huntington assortment, grey washi tape, burlap ribbon,mini clothes pins, metal flowers, liquid glass, New England Ivy ink,Coca ink, and bronze glitz gel.

Close to my Heart Artbooking and Frosted paper

This is my version of a snow globe that is in our New Idea Book (avail 8/1/2013)  I used 5.9 inch glass cylinder with candle holder drop in (found at Micheal's craft stores)  I used the Artbooking cartridge to cut the snowflake boarder for the top, used the stamp set in Frosted Workshop on the Go Card making kit to stamp the trees, larger snowflakes and saying.  All paper used is from the Frosted paper pack.  The trees were stamped using Ponderosa Pine in 1 and 2nd generation.  The snowflakes are inked with Twilight.  I heat embossed the larger snowflakes with White Daisy embossing powder.  I added some stardust glitz gel to the small hanging snowflakes.
The inside of the drop in candle holder I sprayed with Krylon's silver webbing then sanded to make it look antiqued and paint peeling.  I used white glitter to fill the bottom of cylinder and shook it around so it was between the glass and the trees and snowflakes.  the static in glass and glitter helped it stick to the sides.  I used red line tape in very small amounts to adhere the paper cutouts to the inside of the glass.  I then added some battery tea lights.  It looks very nice in the dark.  It's hard to tell from the pictures.

The circle doily and overlay were cut using the Artbooking Cartridge

The doily, paper bows and Blue icon were cut using the Artbooking cartridge.

The paper is a variety, the washi tape is from Anna Griffin, Ribbon is just a variety left over from other projects.  I also used silver spray webbing, several Close to my Heart inks and a variety of embossing plates.

Close to my Heart: Artbooking and Frosted paper pack

Christmas is my favorite time of the year and Close to my Heart's Frosted (Christmas) paper this season is fabulous.  I used chipboard to make the base of this.  The fence slates are 2.5inches by 12 inches.  The 2 base/cross pieces are 1inch by 12 inch.  I rounded the corners and covered the cross pieces in paper before attaching the slate/bigger pieces.  Once the fence slates had been attached I then applied the colored paper after I dry embossed two of the pieces for more texture.  All the cutout were done with Artbooking cartridge and I used the Flaky Friends stamp set to make the little snowman. Twilight ink was used for the edging, stardust and almond glitz gel was used for the sparkle along with clear bling and grey/black pearls.

Close to my Heart Sarita Paper Pack

 

This is a large wooden J that I purchased at a local chain craft store(2.00).  I used Close to my Heart's new Sarita paper, Lagoon ink, burlap ribbon, White Bakers twine, Misc Buttons, Liquid Glass, Purple/Pink Sparkles, Lagoon Houndstooth Washi tape, Sparkle Flourishes and Stardust Glitz Gel.

The retro overlay was cut from the Close to my Heart's new Artbooking Cricut cartridge.

Close to My Heart Chantilly Paper & A True Thank You

These were completed using the Close to my Heart Chantilly Paper Packet (X7163B) and A True Thank You stamp set (M1029). The card stock used was from the paper packet and the Whimsy Card stock Combo Packet (X5936).  Ink colors used were ruby, Hollyhock, Honey, Topiary,Sorbet and Lagoon.  A little Glitz Gel for sparkle and Glitter buttons makes the cards glimmer.

Close to My Heart Tommy Paper & A True Thank You (M1029)

These were completed using the Close to My Heart Tommy paper packet(X7169B) and A True Thank You (M1029) Stamp.  The cards are 4x4  I had some left over envelopes that I wanted to use. The card stock was all coordinating from the paper pack. The stamped stitching was done with Close to my Hearts Stitched Together (C1459) stamp set.  I added white liquid applique(Z308) to add a little dimension.Inks used include Barn Red,White Daisy, Gold rush, and Ruby.
